BURN BAN!
Snohomish County has issued a burn ban for the whole county. This also includes the town of Darrington. The only fires allow are small cooking fires contained in a grill.
Also, there are no open flames allowed on DNR or USFS land.
SURPLUS SALE
Darrington Fire District 24 is in the process of surplussing obsolete apparatus. All apparatus is to be sold to the highest bidder, as-is, with no warranties or exceptions.
Bids should be sent to Darrington Fire District 24 in a sealed envelope before 4:00pm on September 13, 2024. Each separate bid should in sealed envelope, clearly marked for the apparatus you are bidding on.
